This truly pocket-sized book is intended as a practical guide to a choice of ten colour-coded  walks of either 5-mile or 10-mile walks and has been designed with waterproof paper so can  be taken out onto the moors in all weathers. It came about from articles, which appeared in   The Dartmoor News over several years. Clear maps and photographs of the interesting  things to be found on each route accompanies the walks along with a useful profile cross-  section indicating distances and timings. The final walk is a challenge taking two days to  cross the moor from east to west along the ancient ‘way of the dead’ – The Lych Way.
